How Pos Laju Courier Service make the order processing process for their customers goods?
Poslaju's logistics process has its own operation flow. Staff will first collect the customer's package and charge the postage fee. The staff will make the initial data regarding the delivery information and weight after receiving the parcel. The data will be entered into the system, making it more accurate and efficient. Customers will be able to track their packages on the official website using the tracking number provided by the system. Before being sent to Poslaju's headquarters in Kuala Lumpur, the parcel will be carefully wrapped in a box. Poslaju will collect the parcels daily, and the dispatch staff will transfer all the parcels to the Poslaju HQ transit office. When the parcel arrives at the Poslaju headquarters, the staff will re-enter the data into the system. The parcel will then be sent to a sorting warehouse, where staff will sort it according to its destination. The parcel will be dispatched from the Poslaju headquarters and delivered to its destination. The parcel will be delivered by motorcycle or van by dispatch staff. Before giving the parcel to the recipient, the dispatch staff will confirm their identity. To confirm that the parcel is safe to deliver to them, the receiver must sign and write down their ic number (StuDocu, n.d.).

INVENTORY MANAGEMENT AND WAREHOUSING FOR POS LAJU COURIER SERVICE

THE PLANNING THAT POS MALAYSIA BERHAD IMPLEMENTED IN THEIR COMPANY

Malaysia Berhad.
Pos Malaysia Berhad implementing operational
planning in their company. This is because Pos Malaysia has a courier service
which is Pos Laju. So, the have to make day-to-day decision making to keep the
company operation work properly and smoothly. Pos Malaysia use this type of
planning to enduring timely and short lead time delivery. This is because as a
courier services, it is important to maintain customers satisfaction. People
always need to get their goods purchased online as fast as possible. So, Pos
Laju provide the value to their customers by offering a fully integrated
eCommerce logistics solution, leveraging on the eCommerce growth trajectory in
Malaysia (Pos Malaysia Berhad, 2021). Pos Malaysia always controlled their Pos
Laju courier service operations against the standards and rules which has been
set by the government. This control process shows via the weekly and monthly
report of Pos Laju courier service performance.
Other plans that Pos Malaysia Berhad
implemented in their company:
1) Pos Malaysia planning to reinvent itself
for the digital era, committed to revolutionizing and innovating operational
processes. CEO of Pos Malaysia Berhad, Syed Md Najib Syed Md Noor believe that
digitalisation is the way for Pos Malaysia to go ahead and transform the

2) Pos Malaysia aims to be more efficient,
cost-effective, and relevant in order to future-proof its business by adopting
digital solutions and automating relevant processes, enabling it to expand its
Pos Laju courier capabilities (TheStarOnline, 2020).
3) Pos Malaysia has planning to launching
its track-and-trace system to increase service quality (TheStarOnline, 2020).
4) Pos Malaysia make a soft-launch of its
cashless payment capabilities via selected Pos Automated Machines allows for
bills to be paid using several e-wallet services (TheStarOnline, 2020).
5) Pos Malaysia also has plans to deploy
online data analytics capabilities. So, Pos Malaysia establish a system using
the digital address, or geocoding, in an effort to improve the Pos Laju postal
and courier services in Malaysia (TheStarOnline, 2020).
6) Through this system, each customer who
use Pos Laju courier service would be identified through their own geocode,
thus facilitating the delivery of packages. As a result, this will facilitate
the search for recipients (consumer) and ensure that there are no delays in
delivering the goods which have been sent to them (Pos Malaysia Berhad, 2021).
7) Pos Malaysia make the Postal Transformation Plan, that acting as a catalyst that connects urban and rural areas, to allowed hundreds of thousands of rural folks in Malaysia to receive mail and parcels at their doorstep or from pick-up points. This connectivity better positions them to take advantage of the opportunities that the digital era presents (Pos Malaysia Berhad, 2021).

delivering convenient new products and services. Pos Malaysia Berhad want to
become the leading and trusted delivery service provider of customers choice.

The strategies that Pos Malaysia Berhad implemented in their company is:
1) Pos Malaysia Berhad target customers who
are happy to pay a premium for efficient, reliable and trusted delivery
services that cannot be substituted totally by electronic mail or the internet.
The customers whose requirements can be wholly met by using electronic mails
are not the main target (Badariah, 2013).
2) Pos Malaysia Berhad also offer variety
of standard services, both locally and abroad, that can be easily selected by
the customers either directly. A pre-selected list of customers by industry and
the general delivery services normally needed by them shall the selling and
customer acquisition tool for the company's sales force. In terms of
technology, Pos Malaysia Berhad constantly invest in new technologies and
systems to enable it to track and improve its service levels continuously
(Badariah, 2013).

do is they structured their entire operation into three Strategic Business
Units (Badariah, 2013). Pos Malaysia Berhad determine to be more focused on

general public and retail customers (Badariah, 2013).

competitors (Badariah, 2013).

PosNiaga
This unit is responsible in heightening the
accessibility of the national's postal services via its extensive network of
over 700 outlets and Pos Malaysia's transaction portal to reach Malaysians in
every corner of the country (Badariah, 2013).

Pos Malaysia Berhad is a post services company in Malaysia. The organisation was restructured in 1992 from being a governmental owned Malaysian Postal Services Department or Jabatan Perkhidmatan Pos Malaysia into a business corporation (Badariah, 2013).
Pos Malaysia provides postal and related
services, transport logistics, printing and insertion, counter collection and
payment agency services for a range of financial transactions, such as bill
payments, remittance, insurance and unit trusts (Badariah, 2013).
The company holds an exclusive concession to provide mail services through its network of over 850 branches and mini post offices in Malaysia (Badariah, 2013).

PosLaju is the largest courier company in
Malaysia, and is one of the strategic business units of Pos Malaysia Berhad.
Established since 1986, Poslaju has a proven track record of more than 20 years
providing door-to-door delivery services to customers. As the market leader in
the courier business, PosLaju has shown steady yearly growth in volume and
revenue (Pos Malaysia Berhad, 2021).
PosLaju has an unrivalled network coverage
in Malaysia, with 974 outlets comprising 692 Post offices, 159 Pos mini
branches, 50 PosLaju centres and 71 authorised agents and two service centers

For local delivery, customers can choose to
send documents or parcels using PosLaju's Next Day Delivery, Same Day Delivery
and Time Certain Service. For international deliveries, Poslaju offers Time
Certain Service to Tokyo and Singapore, and international express deliveries to
over 200 countries worldwide through EMS (Express Mail Service) and affiliated
global courier companies. Poslaju also provides value-added services to
complement its main express services such as pick up service, insurance
